China Takes Lead on North Korea

As befitting its leading nation role in the world, as America falls to second-rank status, China warns against the use of force in carrying out sanctions against North Korea. The United Nations Security Council approved sanctions stating that countries intercepting vessels should avoid armed action.

“Under no circumstance should there be the use of force or the threat of use of force” in implementing the sanctions in Resolution 1874, Chinese Ambassador Zhang Yesui stated.
