Obama Celebrates Islamic Dinner in White House

Barry Soetoro Obama praised Islam as an integral part of America, stating: "Islam as we know is part of America. . . . On this occasion, we celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and we also celebrate how much Muslims have enriched America and its culture in ways both large and small."

Earlier in the year Obama snubbed Protestants, Jews, and Catholics when he bypassed the traditional Day of Prayer. Likewise, when appearing at Georgetown, the White House asked that Georgetown University, a Roman Catholic institution, cover up any images of Jesus.
