China oil spill

The China oil spill received the immediate attention of President Hu Jintao; 40 oil-skimming boats and about 800 fishing boats were also deployed. I take it that the President, he must not be a golfer, got right to work in order to protect the nationalized oil industry. This is quite a contrast the American disaster and so far there is no word that the oil rigs will be shut down as in the U.S. case.
