Ian Hunter, 6 September 2014, The Bell House, Brooklyn

A very poor system to get people into the gig at the site. If you have a ticket, you go on, get your hand stamped, and then walk back to the bar area. The people arriving have to weave their way through the crowd, get stamped, and the return through the crowd the same way they struggled to get in. Then, everyone crowds towards the front to get in. No one knows where the imaginary line is so it gets crowded. The security asks people to cooperate. If they were organized it would be much easier.

I did have to tell "Shorty," the drunk next to me who was trying to impress his gal to stop drinking when he kept bumping me. The joy of standing room only gigs leaves something to be desired.

In any case, great rockin' show. I think they played harder than the night before although the Fairfield gig included a very enthusiastic crowd.
