Stop Health Care Rationing

Summary of points included in the Health Care Rationing Plan: vote next week in Congress.

Are Americans really in favor of this:

* All American citizens being ordered to have a National ID Card (page 58)
* US government to have immediate access to every American citizens bank accounts (page 59)
* All property owned by Doctors in the US to be determined by government (page 317)
* All American citizens ordered to give the US government power of attorney over their living wills (page 425)

And, here are more summary points:

Pg 22 of the HC Bill mandates the Government will audit books of all employers that self insure. Can you imagine what that will do to small businesses? Every one will abandon “self insurance” and go on Government insurance. So when Obama says that there will still be private health care, it’s simply a lie: this mandate will force employers to abandon their private plans
.
Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill – a Government committee (good luck with that!) will decide what treatments/benefits a person may receive.
Pg 29 lines 4-16 in the HC bill – YOUR HEALTHCARE WILL BE RATIONED! (We all knew this, because health care is rationed in Canada and Britain, but Obama kept saying it would not be).

PG 84 Sec 203 HC bill – Government mandates ALL benefit packages for private HC plans in the Exchange.

PG 85 Line 7 HC Bill – Specifics of Benefit Levels for Plans = The Government will ration your Healthcare!

PG 91 Lines 4-7 HC Bill – Government mandates linguistic appropriate services. Example – Translation for illegal aliens.

Pg 95 HC Bill Lines 8-18 The Government will use groups, i.e. ACORN & Americorps, to sign up individuals for Government HC plan.

PG 85 Line 7 HC Bill – Specifics of Benefit Levels for Plans. AARP members – your Health care WILL be rationed.

-PG 102 Lines 12-18 HC Bill – Medicaid Eligible Individuals will be automatically enrolled in Medicaid. No choice.

pg 124 lines 24-25 HC No company can sue Government on price fixing. No “judicial review” against Government Monopoly.

pg 127 Lines 1-16 HC Bill – Doctors/ AMA – The Government will tell YOU what you can earn.

Pg 145 Line 15-17 An Employer MUST auto enroll employees into public option plan. NO CHOICE.

Pg 126 Lines 22-25 Employers MUST pay for HC for part time employees AND their families.

Pg 149 Lines 16-24 ANY Employer with payroll $400k & above who does not provide public option pays 8% tax on all payroll.

pg 150 Lines 9-13 Businesses with payroll between $251k & $400k who don’t provide public option pay 2-6% tax on all payroll.

Pg 167 Lines 18-23 ANY individual who doesn’t have acceptable HC according to Government will be taxed 2.5% of income.

PG 203 Line 14-15 HC – “The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax” Yes, it says that.

Pg 239 Line 14-24 HC Bill Government will reduce physician services for Medicaid. Seniors, low income, poor affected.

Pg 241 Line 6-8 HC Bill – Doctors – doesn’t matter what specialty – will all be paid the same.

PG 253 Line 10-18 Government sets value of Doctor’s time, professional judgment, etc. Literally, value of humans.

PG 265 Sec 1131Government mandates & controls productivity for private HC industries.

PG 268 Sec 1141 Federal Government regulates rental & purchase of power driven wheelchairs.

PG 272 SEC. 1145. TREATMENT OF CERTAIN CANCER HOSPITALS – Cancer patients – welcome to rationing!

Pg 298 Lines 9-11 Doctors who treat a patient during initial admission that results in a readmission – Government will penalize you.

Pg 317 L 13-20 OMG!! PROHIBITION on ownership/investment. Government tells Doctors what/how much they can own.

Pg 317-318 lines 21-25,1-3 PROHIBITION on expansion – Government will mandate hospitals cannot expand.

pg 321 2-13 Hospitals have opportunity to apply for exception BUT community input required. Can u say ACORN?!

Pg335 L 16-25 Pg 336-339 – Government mandates establishment of outcome-based measures which of course forces health care rationing.

Pg 341 Lines 3-9 Government has authority to disqualify Medicare Adv Plans, HMOs, etc., forcing people into Government plan.

Pg 354 Sec 1177 – Government will RESTRICT enrollment of Special needs people!

Pg 379 Sec 1191 Government creates more bureaucracy – Telehealth Advisory Committee. HC by phone.

PG 425 Lines 4-12 Government mandates Advance Care Planning Consultations. Think Senior Citizens end of life prodding.

Pg 425 Lines 17-19 Government will instruct & consult regarding living wills, durable powers of attorney. Mandatory!

PG 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3 Government provides approved list of end of life resources, guiding you in how to die.

PG 427 Lines 15-24 Government mandates program for orders for end of life. The Government has a say in how your life ends.

Pg 429 Lines 1-9 An “advanced care planning consultant” will be used frequently as patients’ health deteriorates.

PG 429 Lines 10-12 “advanced care consultation” may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from the Government to end a life!

Pg 429 Lines 13-25 – The Government will specify which Doctors can write an end of life order
PG 430 Lines 11-15 The Government will decide what level of treatment you will have at end of life.

Pg 469 – Community Based Home Medical Services/Non profit orgs. (ACORN Medical Services here?)

Page 472 Lines 14-17 PAYMENT TO COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION. 1 monthly payment to a community-based organization. (Like ACORN?)

PG 489 Sec 1308 The Government will cover Marriage & Family therapy. Which means they will insert Government into our marriages.

Pg 494-498 Government will cover Mental Health Services including defining, creating, rationing those services. You’d better speak up now before you are on the “advanced care consultation” list.

A Question of Eligibility Trailer

Obamacare: Death and Taxes

Martin Blows it on Dobbs

Obama is in trouble; the only thing Roland Martin can say in defense is that Obama is president. He side-steps the issue of documentation entirely. His body language is revealing as well. He is angry that any one dare question Soetoro at all. Martin can barely control himself even when Dobbs tries to calm him down: really infantile. Martin's position is simply indignation, not a reasoned, rational response. In his histrionic response it is difficult to understand Martin but I believe he says at one point that this is simply "just a law," the point is irrelevant. The Constitution is not just a law and we must adhere to a rule of law and not of men or we will face the consequences.

Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution states:

“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

The proposed legislation is reasonable. Since proper procedure was not followed this time, in order to prevent this travesty from happening again, the law should pass. We need to verify candidates for the presidency, and have a clear procedure in place, to properly vet candidates. Most likely the reasons people dropped the ball in Obama's case is: 1) the Democrats did not highlight the issue for fear of disqualifying Soetoro; 2) the media did not investigate the issue because of their love affair with Obama; and 3) the usual vetting process that worked in the past do not apply anymore. As a demographically changing America we can not assume a faithfulness to this country and its ideals any more. The challenge for the founders was to create a Republic of Americans. In the intervening period, American politicians have sold our birthright to the highest bidders: China, Saudi Arabia, and other international interests.

Transcript:

LOU DOBBS: And the left-wing media launching an all-out attack against me because I simply called for transparency on the issue of the president’s birth certificate and said the president is a U.S. citizen. A comment, by the way, that was not quoted by the left-wing media. We’ll examine this controversy in our face-off debate here tonight.

DOBBS: I think the president of the United States is a citizen. But what I don’t understand is why he hasn’t just produced it to get this — this noise out of the way.

I believe Barack Obama is a citizen of the United States, folks. Don’t you? But I do have a couple of little questions, like you. Why not just provide a copy of the birth certificate? That’s entirely within the president’s power to do so. Then, all of this nonsense goes away.

I don’t know what the reality is. Do I believe he is a citizen? Yes, I do, absolutely, but I — I would think it would be a nice thing to produce that birth certificate.

DOBBS: Isn’t it interesting not a single outlet in the left-wing national media, just that little part of the national media, chose to include a single one of those quotes from me? We will have much more on the issue of the president’s birth certificate in our face-off debate — next.

DOBBS: President Obama promised transparency and openness in his administration. Yet, he’s chosen not to release his original birth certificate or a copy of it. And a number of Americans are asking, why not? The left-wing media has attacked me because I simply asked the question.

Meanwhile, the state of Hawaii says it can’t release a paper copy of the president’s original birth certificate because they say the state government discarded the original document when the health department records went electronic some eight years ago.

That explanation, however, has not satisfied some critics.

DOBBS: Joining me now, Roland Martin. He’s CNN contributor, syndicated columnist. And joining us as well, Congressman Ted Poe. Before we get started, I want to be clear where I stand, because the — the left-wing media kind of forgot to leave out — kind of left a few things out. It was inconvenient to their stories. Just — just one statement, very quickly, if you will. Play that.

That’s entirely within the president’s power.

DOBBS: Why not? That’s the question, Roland Martin. What’s the answer?

ROLAND MARTIN, CNN CONTRIBUTOR: Well, first and foremost, he’s produced the document he received from the state of Hawaii.

MARTIN: Now, you are saying, where’s the original? According to the state of Hawaii, that is the document that establishes where he was born. So, what is the issue?

DOBBS: So, you don’t think…

DOBBS: So, you don’t think the president has a copy?

MARTIN: No, but what is the issue?

DOBBS: Well, the issue is…

MARTIN: I mean, he’s the president. He’s been certified. He’s in office.

DOBBS: Well, he’s a president. I mean, he’s not like a — I mean, you make it sound like he’s been anointed something beyond that.

MARTIN: No, no, he’s a president of the United States, the 44th.

DOBBS: Yes. Yes.

MARTIN: So, what — what is the point? I mean, exactly where is the story in this? If he has presented a document, the state of Hawaii has confirmed that — that he was indeed born there, what’s the issue?

DOBBS: Ted Poe, Congressman, what’s the — what’s the issue?

REP. TED POE (R), TEXAS: Well, the president has not produced a birth certificate. He has produced what is a birth announcement from the state of Hawaii. And this could all be settled if he would just produce the birth certify call. And that’s why we have introduced legislation that, in future elections, that the president prove that he is a resident for 14 years, that he’s over 35, and that he’s a native-born American. And that applies to everybody, and we get rid of all this controversy, and we move on down the road.

MARTIN: Congressman, it’s nonsense. First of all, you were a state judge in Texas. I was born and raised in Houston. I remember seeing your stories all the time. My dad, when I got him got a passport, he didn’t have his original birth certificate. He went to the Houston Department of Health and got a copy of his birth certificate. It satisfied his passport, satisfied the State Department. So, how can you say that’s legitimate; oh, but the president has not presented what the state of Hawaii said is an official document with their seal on it?

POE: Because it is not a birth certificate. It’s not even a copy of the birth certificate. It is a birth announcement. It is like me sending out a birth announcement for one of my children…

MARTIN: No. What is in the newspaper is a birth announcement.

POE: And that’s what it is.

MARTIN: That is an official document. What is in the newspaper is a birth announcement, Congressman. Come on.

DOBBS: Let — let — if I may interject…

DOBBS: … do we have a — could we just put up a copy of that certificate — certificate of live birth? What you are looking at there, which I believe is the copy that comes from FactCheck.org or Annenberg, there’s no reference there to the attending physician. There’s no reference there to the hospital in which he was born. It is a certificate that refers to the fact that another certificate exists.

MARTIN: Is it an official state document?

DOBBS: I’m sorry?

MARTIN: Is it an official state document of the state of Hawaii?

DOBBS: Well, let me try this again, so I can be really clear about it. It is a document that says there’s another document. It does not include that — you are referring to your father’s birth certificate. A copy of his birth certificate would have the doctor, the hospital that he was born in, correct? And this is the — and, by the way, this is just what people are concerned about.

MARTIN: No, no, whose people, first of all? You got 13 percent…

DOBBS: … 600,000 people who have signed a petition.

MARTIN: Six hundred thousand. Thirteen percent of Americans, 39 million, still think he is Muslim. And we have done everything, Lou, to debunk that as an absolute lie. So, it is irrelevant.

DOBBS: OK. If you want to make it irrelevant, that’s fine.

POE: Well, I don’t know why you are getting so…

DOBBS: Yes, go ahead, Congressman.

POE: Well, I don’t know why you are getting so upset.

MARTIN: Because, Congressman, you probably — because you probably have better things to do, Congressman, than this silly little law here.

POE: … certificate for McCain. They were — your side was…

MARTIN: No, no, no, no, Congressman. Congressman, let me correct you with something.

POE: And, so, he produced his birth certificate..

MARTIN: Congressman, I want to…

POE: … territories of Arizona.

MARTIN: Congressman, Congressman, nice try. But, first of all, I voted Republicans and Democrats. So, don’t try the “your side.”

MARTIN: I thought the left-wing people were nuts as well. I just want to correct you on that one.

POE: Why are you so upset? Produce the birth certificate. That’s all you have got to do.

MARTIN: No, no, because it is silly. It is silly.

MARTIN: It’s silly.

MARTIN: Are you losing sleep over this?

DOBBS: Look, Roland, look, Roland…

MARTIN: I mean, Lou, are you losing sleep over this?

DOBBS: Roland, here’s what I would like you to do. I would like you to remember, if you would — and I’m — and I’m trying to be as nice as I can be, but you are yelling and you’re getting awfully excited about something that, you know, doesn’t require this level of…

MARTIN: Well, I think it is hilarious.

DOBBS: Then laugh. But don’t — please, don’t…

MARTIN: But it’s utterly hilarious, Lou.

DOBBS: The congressman might take your remarks a different way. And I’m asking is that you just – you know, relax just a bit.

And let’s take a look at headlines from “The New York Times,” if we may, from last year, when at — at question was Senator John McCain’s citizenship, and see if we can see a difference in the way in which they have approached this — this issue.

This is “The New York Times.” “A hint of new life to the McCain birth issue.” “McCain’s canal zone birth prompts queries about whether that rules him out” — The New York Times,” and, in July of last year, with an article. I mean, it goes on. The issue of “Justices turn back on a challenge on Obama that has stopped squall of Internet-fueled rumors.” There’s an obvious difference in tone here from “The New York Times” when talking about John McCain than there is when they were talking about Barack Obama.

MARTIN: And I don’t care about the “New York Times” tone. The issue there…

DOBBS: But I do. And that’s why I bring it up.

MARTIN: Lou, your issue, though, is about a certificate. It’s not about how the media is covering it.

DOBBS: No, no. No, no.

MARTIN: So, which one is it?

DOBBS: My — my issue is this, OK? When this could be dispelled so quickly, and — and simply by producing it, why not do it?

MARTIN: He has produced a document that is satisfactory, but it’s not satisfactory to you. So, Lou, he’s not here to satisfy Lou Dobbs. He’s the president of the United States. He probably has other things that’s on his mind than satisfying Lou Dobbs.

DOBBS: Yes. And does that, then, what, just dismiss the concern?

MARTIN: No. He has presented a document that is legal. In the state of Hawaii, it is legal. It is a document. It’s there. Now, because you’re not satisfied, OK. And, Lou, if this…

DOBBS: Don’t worry about my — don’t worry about my satisfaction.

MARTIN: No, no.

MARTIN: Lou, you’re the one who is still making this an issue.

DOBBS: No, no, please. Again, did you hear what I said?

MARTIN: Yes.

DOBBS: I believe he’s a citizen.

MARTIN: OK. So, why even continue the story? Is it keeping you up at night? It is a non-issue. It is irrelevant. You say so many Americans care.

MARTIN: No, it is an irrelevant issue. It’s been established. He’s the president.

DOBBS: All right. All right.

MARTIN: What is the big deal?

DOBBS: Is there a big deal here, Congressman Poe?

POE: Well, I don’t know that it’s a big deal, but the best way we can prevent anything from happening in the future is produce the birth certificate.

And, if you’re going to — if you have your child that wants to be in the little league, you have got to show up with the birth certificate. You have got to prove that he’s a resident. And why can’t the president do that? And that’s all this legislation does, so that, in future elections, we don’t have these disagreements, we don’t have these problems.

DOBBS: Yes.

POE: Just produce the birth certificate. The document from Hawaii is not a birth certificate. That’s the bottom line.

MARTIN: This document…

POE: It’s a legal document, but not the birth certificate.

MARTIN: Congressman, Congressman, this document couldn’t pass by the little league in Hawaii? I mean, I think, if you were still sitting on the bench, you would say this is another one of those irrelevant, useless lawsuits that we see every single day.

POE: I probably wouldn’t say that.

MARTIN: You were a tough judge in justice. And you would probably say, come on, give me a break. Move on, guys. This is a waste of the court’s time and Congress’ time.

DOBBS: So, you’re not content to speak for yourself. You’re going to speak for Congressman Poe as well.

MARTIN: You know what? As somebody who watched him every day, he was a tough judge.

DOBBS: Congressman, Congressman, you get the last word here.

POE: Well, without belaboring the point, in the future elections, you know, the president — candidates — now, this has come up. It came up with Romney. It came up with Goldwater. It came up with McCain. Now it’s come up with Obama. Let’s just get over this by producing a birth certificate in future elections, prove the person was in the country eight — 14 years, they’re over 35, and we won’t have these disagreements. And I think that’s what we ought to do. That’s…

DOBBS: Congressman Poe, by the way, is a co-sponsor of Congressman Posey’s legislation to do precisely that, which he introduced back in March.

Thank you very much for being here.

MARTIN: I will bring my birth certificate in next week, Lou.

DOBBS: You don’t need to, because some would suggest that would be absolutely irrelevant.

DOBBS: Congressman Poe, thank you very much.

Saudi Arabian Sharia School Near Washington, D.C. Expanding

Flashback: Enjoy Soetoro Getting Punk'ed by Dr. Keyes

Barry must cringe when he views this clip from a debate in the 2004 Illinois senatorial race. Obama's body language is precious. He stares at the table, into space, and looks downward throughout. Keyes runs circles around Barry who is flummoxed in dismay. Obama can not debate, and beat Keyes, in an open forum.

Reichstag Moment: Why Do You Think He Moved So Quickly to Grab Power?

For the first time, Barry's approval rating fell below 50%. Overall, 49% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of Hussein's performance; however, Rasmussen will detail later today that this is the first that Soetoro's overall approval rating has ever fallen below 50% among "Likely Voters" nationwide. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove. This is a critical phase as the Obama administration deconstructs. It was inevitable, as readers of this blog can attest, that I have predicted the train wreck about to happen. We are entering the Reichstag moment of the current regime. Obama will not be able to gather momentum again as his administration has grounded down steadily since the election. The regime has no one to blame except themselves. Obama has escalated the war efforts. Obama has not solved the financial crisis. Obama has seen unemployment rise with no end in sight. It is clear he has no solution since with his last news conference he simply declared victory, with no evidence, and congratulated himself. Whether it is his lack of experience, arrogance, narcissism, disloyalty to American ideals, whatever the case may be, it really does not matter. He is in a moment of personal crisis. Perhaps for the first time in his life he is being told honestly: you failed. You are inadequate. He is not accustomed to hearing this point and he will not accept it.

At a point in Hitler's rise to power he realized that he had exploited all he needed from the Weimar Constitution and he suspended it with the fatal flaw: the passage of the Enabling Act. The Act allowed Hitler to rule "without the approval of the Reichstag and without reference to the President (Richard J. Evans, The Coming of the Third Reich, p. 351). The Reichstag Fire created a convenient crisis for the Nazis to exploit, whether they planned it or helped Marinus van der Lubbe to set the fire is immaterial (Evans, p. 328f). The fact is they exploited the moment to proclaim a crisis that only Hitler could solve. The unfortunate fact is that most Germans believed the story.

The lesson that we can draw from crisis in Weimar Germany is that a Constitution can be dispensed with; Hitler did not need it anymore. The pretense was over. The Nazis hit their high point in earlier elections and with their depleted resources and limited electoral appeal, it was unlikely that in an open, free, and fair election they could improve their Parliamentary position (Evans, pp. 303, 305). Their momentum had peaked once Hitler was appointed Chancellor.

In a similar fashion, Obama has striven mightily to move as quickly as he could to seize as much control as possible since it takes the electorate some time to understand what he up to. For most of us, Washington is far away, and rarely do what the politicians do effect us so directly. Ordinarily, we can afford to be lackadaisical. Obama and his handlers know that it would take time for people to grasp just how radical his proposals are and how he is actively working against their interests.

As people have caught on Obama will need a Reichstag event. The Nazis, most likely, set fire to the Reichstag building to create a crisis: the Republic is under attack. Give me more power and I will settle the crisis.

We are entering an ominous time for the current regime, and more importantly, for America.

Thank You Letter to An Environmental Organization

I write to thank you for sending a representative to our neighborhood this week. This community is highly motivated to fight for our environment and our quality of life.

China and India have recently flatly rejected Hillary's suggestion that they should cut back on their economic development in favor of lessening the destruction of the environment and emitting pollution that reaches the U.S. For example, "according to the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, China emitted 6.2 billion tons of carbon dioxide in 2006, eclipsing the 5.8 billion tons released by the U.S. that year (Bryce, p. 268)." China and India, as the developing world generally, is oblivious to their environmental destruction.

Americans are going to need all the resources they can muster to address this critical issue. As a nation we have responsibly grown to learn from the negative environmental examples by some, and therefore need to forestall any efforts to hinder individual Americans who can responsibly choose to make wise environmental decisions. Speaking personally for a moment, I learned in 1973 with the OPEC oil embargo that petroleum is a limited resource yet other countries, such as the Middle Eastern Islamic states, irresponsibly exploit their natural resources for the extravagant wealth of a few. Other countries in the world have not learned the lesson that wise individual Americans have benefited from. We have rich life experiences to draw from.

It is clear then that wise Americans drawing from their life experiences should forestall efforts to hinder their personal wealth and limit growth. As Obama stated on the campaign trail, "under my plan of cap and trade system, electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket."

Research by the Heritage Foundation documents the harm in passing H.R. 2454:

1. reduce aggregate gross domestic product 9(GDP) by $9.6 trillion;
2. destroy an average of 1-3 million jobs, every year;
3. raise electricity rates 90% after adjusting for inflation;
4. raise inflation-adjusted gasoline prices by 74%;
5. raise residential natural gas prices by 55%;
6. raise an average family's annual energy bill by $1,500 annually; and,
7. increase the federal debt by 26%, which is $29,150 per person.

In fact, as Spain attempted a "green" goal, this effort, similar to that proposed under a cap and trade scheme, resulted in higher unemployment that rose to 18%.

As the current regime is unable to lead or influence the world to end their highly destructive environmental policies we applaud your efforts to raise the consciousness of Americans and improve their quality of life.

My community is in your debt; thank you.

April 17, 2009
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20500

Mr. Obama:

I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct
on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an
adequate representative of the United States of America collectively
or of me personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim
world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President
of the United States of America. You are responsible to the citizens
of the United States. You are not responsible to the peoples of any
other country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the
United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care
about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First
World War and the Second World War were all about if not the
consideration of the peoples of Europe? Are you brain dead? What
do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand
or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States
does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the
Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United
States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the
principles governing this country, at least until you came along,
come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?
Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all
Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the
king of Saudi Arabia. You didn’t show Great Britain, our best and
one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down
to the king of Saudi Arabia. How dare you, sir! How dare you!
You can’t find the time to visit the graves of our greatest
generation because you don’t want to offend the Germans but make
time to visit a mosque in Turkey. You offended our dead and every
veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who
saved the German people from themselves. What’s the matter with
you? I am convinced that you and the members of your administration
have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and
should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the
American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real
thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines,
Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses.
What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.
What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in
bonuses to their staff members on top of the $2.5 million in
automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand
the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay
to save jobs with my employer. You haven’t said anything about
that. Who authorized that? I surely didn’t!

Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210
million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that’s $45 million
more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives
have already been awarded $51 million, not a bad take. Who
authorized that and why haven’t you expressed your outrage at thi s
group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have
right now?

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and
not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are
doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you.
I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything
you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I
promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a
chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

Sincerely,
Every real American

Paul Blasts Bernanke

Representative Ron Paul presses Fed chair Bernanke. Bernanke attempts to redefine inflation and suggests that an after the fact audit would hinder daily monetary decisions.

Bernanke stated: “I Don’t Know” Which Foreign Banks Were Given Half a Trillion."

Paul directly blamed the Fed for creating the financial crisis and systematically compounding the problems with its ongoing policies.

The Congressman stated:

“The Federal Reserve in collaboration with the giant banks has created the greatest financial crisis the world has ever seen.”

“The foolish notion that unlimited amounts of money and credit created out of thin air can provide sustainable economic growth has delivered this crisis to us.”
The Congressman said.

“Instead of economic growth and stable prices, (The Fed) has given us a system of government and finance that now threatens the world financial and political institutions.”

“Pursuing the same policy of excessive spending, debt expansion and monetary inflation can only compound the problems that prevent the required corrections,” Paul added.

“Doubling the money supply didn’t work, quadrupling it won’t work either,”
he said.

The Congressman implored that the only way out of a debt crisis is to pay off or liquidate the debt, “we are doing neither,” he concluded.

“Buying up the bad debt of privileged institutions and dumping worthless assets on the American people is morally wrong and economically futile,” Paul concluded.

During his five minute questioning window, Paul challenged Bernanke on quotes attributed to him that suggested The Fed chairman had said that HR1207, Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve, would interfere with the Fed’s interest rates decisions.

The Congressman maintained it would do nothing of the sort, while Bernanke attempted to suggest that giving the Government Accountability Office the power of audit over the Fed would inhibit and restrict the Fed’s ability to make decisions on monetary policy by politicizing it.

Paul fired back stating that it is preposterous to suggest that the Fed isn’t already overtly politicized:

“Just the fact that they can issue a lot of loans and special privileges to banks and corporations, that’s political. This idea that it would be political because we know what happened afterwards just doesn’t seem to add up.” Paul noted.

Paul then challenged Bernanke on the definition of inflation after he implied that buying debt and printing more money was not inflationary.

Obama's Saudi Islamic Roots

Obama has not released his records from Harvard Law School but it is possible that Islamic handlers promoted his admission and financed his legal education there. On the "Inside City Hall" show, Harlem attorney Percy Sutton

--a lawyer for Malcolm X-–explained that Islamofascist Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour,

Khalid Al Mansour explains his version of Jewish history.

Al Mansour explains the birth and death of Christianity.

Al Mansour explains that Christians designed discrimination.

"one of the world's wealthiest men," asked him to write a letter of recommendation to Harvard Law School for Obama. Obama may still have been Barry Soetoro at the time but Sutton claims he was introduced to Obama by al-Mansour, a Saudi citizen, who "was then raising money" for Obama. Al-Mansour was the "principal adviser to one of the world's richest men," most likely Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Ben Smith of Politico reported the Obama campaign's firm denial of Sutton's claim.

Smith did reach al-Mansour who claimed he's sure Sutton wrote a letter for someone else, "and he got it confused."

Investigative journalist Jack Cashill has reported that al-Mansour serves on the board of, among others, Saudi African Bank and was responsible for the Africa investment activities of Kingdom Holdings, Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal's investment company. Cashill also noted that al-Mansour is a frequent lecturer at Harvard.

Al-Mansour regularly rails against Christians and Jews.

Al-Mansour was originally known as Don Warden, who founded the Afro-American Association in the Bay Area and was instrumental in creating the Black Panthers.

The University of California Berkeley Library's Social Activism Sound Recording Project identifies Warden as being the "mentor" of Black Panther co-founder Huey Newton.

Obama's Euthanasia Plan: Health Care Rationing Bill

Betsy McCaughey,
interviewed by Fred Thompson on 16 July 2009, is a former lieutenant governor of New York and Founder of the Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths. McCaughey explains how the Health Care rationing bill will end the lives of the older demographic population. The elderly will have to pay the cost of these programs as well; they will be charged for these services. The health rationing bill provides for mandatory euthanasia counseling for senior citizens every five years and whenever they receive a diagnosis of terminal illness (page 425, House version of the bill — H.R. 3200, America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009).

The bill states:

"if there is a significant change in the health condition of the individual, including diagnosis of a chronic, progressive, life-limiting disease, a life-threatening or terminal diagnosis or life-threatening injury, or upon admission to a skilled nursing facility, a long-term care facility (as defined by the Secretary), or a hospice program."

Individuals, as determined by the Federal government, will be counseled to end their life. Previously, the most private and personal decision a person can make, in consultation with their personal physician, and supported by one's family, was determined by individuals. This type of situation will end; the Federal government will determine the end of your life.

Younger people are at risk as well. If, for example, you are in fairly good shape, yet you are past middle age, you have cause for concern. TITLE IV–QUALITY: Subtitle A–Comparative Effectiveness Research states: “Comparative Effectiveness Research” means that the Federal government will calculate the cost of your proposed treatment and divide that by the remaining years of your statistical life expectancy. If your per-year life cost exceeds the state-mandated thresh hold, you will not receive proper and personal health care. Even military veterans who risked their lives defending the Constitution will be included. Veterans will be considered dispensable at a federally mandated point.

The estimates are that 12 millions illegals, since the plan is for residents, not citizens, will enjoy better health benefits than older Americans who have paid for health care already.

Obama Less Popular Than Bush

A USA Today/Gallup survey noted that just six months into his reign, Barry Soetoro's popularity was lower than President George W. Bush's at the same stage of his tenure. Doubtless as a result of the Stimulus fiasco and failing confidence in his machinations, Obama's job approval rating has dropped by nine points since January to 55%t, a point below his predecessor in mid-2001, before 9/11 by the way, when Bush's popularity soured.

Does anyone smell a manufactured crisis coming?

Sebelius Stumping Gets: "It will be a cold day in hell . . . "

"If it's so good, why doesn't Congress have to be on it?"

Obama and his minions have their hands full. Democrat Representative Russ Carnahan of Missouri, was holding a forum in St. Louis to explain Obama's Health Care rationing. As Carnahan speaks, he is repeatedly laughed at and jeered by the crowd as he says that Obama rationing will actually help reduce health care spending, and that one-half the cost can be paid for by savings the plan will produce.

At the end, one member of the audience shouts out to Carnahan, "if it's so good, why doesn't Congress have to be on it!"

I could have have said it any better myself; the Health Care rationing plan is like the cook who will not eat his own food. There must be something wrong with it. Health care rationing is a deeply flawed plan.

Mass Coffins, Graves: Phoenix, Inglewood, Georgia; Yet, Feds Stockpiling Food

Mass coffins stacked and videotaped in Phoenix.

Stacked coffins sitting in Inglewood, CA for four months.

500,000 coffins in rural Georgia.

In addition, I listed below the cost and foods purchased by taxpayers as a result of the Stimulus fiasco bill:

RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $2,531,600 FOR ‘HAM, WATER ADDED, COOKED, FROZEN, SLICED, 2-LB’…
RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $1,191,200 FOR ‘2 POUND FROZEN HAM SLICED’…
RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $1,562,568 FOR ‘MOZZARELLA CHEESE’…
RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $5,708,260 FOR ‘PROCESS CHEESE’…
RECOVERY.GOV // AWARDED: $16,784,272 FOR ‘CANNED PORK’…

I count almost $28 million in food purchases here.

People can ask the question: why can’t we taxpayers keep our money and buy our own food?

Anyone care to speculate? The Federal government is stockpiling food and preparing mass graves throughout the country.

“You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.”

You know life can get scary in a regime where the architect does not know what is in the plan. I can hardly wait until crowds in the street gather to oppose his policies: "Let them eat cake," has already been done. But in answer to the question of whether as claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance a leftist blogger asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about” (quote begins at 17:10).

Napolitano Pick Terror Fundraiser

Eight years after 9/11 and the Department of Homeland Security head designates terrorist supporter to protect Americans.

In his Cairo speech Obama stated his Islamic agenda:

"I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."

There will be no civil discussion of Islam, its aims, or its fellow travelers during the new regime. As of yesterday we were six months into the regime.

America as Obamaville: Unemployment

Barry's Waterloo

Stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

Barry Soetoro explains that his health care rationing will bring "greater inefficiencies to our health care system." Inefficient delivery is not a good thing so I thought perhaps he just read the Teleprompter incorrectly. However, this is indeed what he meant. The Washington Post reported his actual speech; health care rationing is inefficient. He meant it.

Senator Jim DeMint denounces Obama’s usurpation of health care.

DeMint describes defeating Obama like Waterloo; this is his Waterloo.

Five technologies Iran is using to censor the Web

I would be looking for the current regime to be using similar technologies: not surprised Iran uses them too.

Islamofascist Group Hizb ut-Tahrir Holds Conference In Chicago

FOX News: Islamic Group Hizb ut-Tahrir Holds Conference In Chicago - 07/19/09 حِزْبُ التَحْرِير‎

The theme of the conference is the Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam.

Indeed, in his Cairo speech Obama viewed himself as a champion of Islam opposed to the colonial sins of Western nations. While Obama is supervising the fall of American capitalism he is dedicated to advancing the aims of global Islam. He stated:

"I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."

In fact, the worldwide Hizb ut-Tahrir organization traces its roots in opposition to the West since the fall of the last Caliphate after WW I.

In Australia, the group feels that it has been discriminated against since WW I. The group feels the need to revive a militaristic and forceful response against what it feels is an attack on Islam.

According the group's description of its mission in Australia:

Rajab is the month in which the journey of al-Isra wal-Miraj occurred, the battle of Tabuk was fought, and the month in which Salahudeen liberated Al-Quds. But Rajab is also the month in which the Khilafah was destroyed. In each of these instances of history lie great lessons for Muslims. It is these lessons, and their relevance to contemporary revivalist efforts, that will be explored in this years campaign.

The U.S. is facing the rise of worldwide Islamofascism. Fox News with Eric Shawn discusses the stealth Jihad of Hizb Ut-Tahrir--a shariah-supremacist group meeting at the Chicago Hilton. The name of the group means The Islamic Liberation Party and the theme of the conference is "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam". James Lafferty, from the Center for Security Policy, talks about the danger posed by this Islamic group.

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser condemns the jihadist recruiting organization and calls upon American Muslim organizations to specifically condemn the Islamofascism of Hizb ut-Tahrir.

In Britain the group has considered any change or accommodation in Islam as an attack on the religion and entails forcing the faith to be a secular force alone.

Bill Roggio of the Long War Journal has summarized activities of the group since 2005.

Red-on-Red
The assault of radical British politician George Galloway highlights the dangers of attempting to co-opt the forces of radical Islam. George Galloway, a former Minister of Parliament, advocate of Palestinian terrorism and supporter of Saddam Hussein has attempted to woo the Muslim vote by campaigning on anti American and anti Blair platforms. But this is not enough to placate some of the more extreme elements of the Islamists who would normally be thought to support his anti-Western stance on the Middle East:

"I was meeting people who live in the flats. Hizb-ut-Tahrir suddenly filled the room and blocked the door. I tried speaking calmly. They then said I was parading as a false prophet and served a sentence of death on me. They were claiming I was representing myself as a false deity and for this apostasy I would be sentenced to the gallows… They said they were setting up the gallows for me. Thank God my daughter was not with me. She was in the car outside. Otherwise there would have been nobody to call the police. The police saved my life."
The Heritage Foundation has an excellent primer on Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami (Islamic Party of Liberation). Heritage documents the background of the party leadership and its interconnectivity to radical Islamist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the PLO, and Saudi Arabian Wahhabis:

Since its inception in 1952 in Jordanian-occupied East Jerusalem, Hizb has gained tens of thousands of followers from London to Lahore. From its beginning, [Hizb ut-Tahrir founder] an-Nabhani's organization was influenced by the rabid anti-Semitism propagated by Sheikh Hajj Amin Al-Housseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who was a major Nazi war collaborator.
An-Nabhani, who was serving at the time on the Islamic appellate court in Jerusalem, was an associate and contemporary of Hajj Amin's. He also drew on the organizational principles of Marxism-Leninism, which were quite well-known among the middle- and upper-class Arabs in British Mandate Palestine. Khaled Hassan, one of the founders of the Fatah faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization, was also among the founders of Hizb ut-Tahrir, as was Sheikh Asaad Tahmimi, who became Islamic Jihad's spiritual leader. Hizb supported the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1991 and backs the Islamic Salvation Front of Algeria, a radical movement on the U.S. State Department's terrorism list.

An-Nabhani was also member of the radical Islamic Brotherhood (Al Ihwan al-Muslimeen), a secretive international fundamentalist organization founded in Egypt in 1928, which spread throughout the Islamic world and preaches the establishment of a Caliphate. He joined the Brotherhood while studying in Cairo's Al-Azhar University but later left the Brotherhood because he considered it too soft. It is likely that Hizb was supported initially by the Saudi-based radical Islamist Wahhabi movement, although the extent to which that support continues today is unclear.

Global Security clearly explains the anti-democratic nature of Hizb ut-Tahrir, which makes the actions of the British Islamists all too understandable.

Unlike similar Islamic groups, the radical Sunni Muslim group Hizb ut-Tahrir recruits new members irrespective of differences among the various tendencies within Islam. Unlike more traditional Islamic parties, it is supranational and refuses to be involved in local politics. Therefore, it is impossible for regional leaders to co-opt the group, as happened with the former Islamic opposition in Tajikistan. Hizb ut-Tahrir is not a political party in the sense that it does not want to participate in national politics. It does not want to go for elections. It does not want to be part of any coalition government.
While Hizb ut-Tahrir’s modus operandi has been well documented, Mr. Galloway still insists on trying to engage in political debate with the group’s leader, offering democratic solutions to a political movement whose express intent is the destruction of democracy, and a return to the rule of a Caliphs; “Mr Galloway, who is due to share a platform with the leader of Hizb-ut-Tahrir on Saturday at a debate on Muslims and politics, said he was being targeted because he offered a democratic solution to Muslims.” At the risk of being childish, the only response to Mr. Galloway's incredulousness is "duh".

Colt refers to the attack on Mr. Galloway as a blue-on-blue incident, but as the actions of groups such as Hizb ut-Tahrir and other anti-democratic forces demonstrates, the “enemy of my enemy” isn’t necessarily a friend when both parties are Western. Mr. Galloway's experience was not an isolated incident of radical Muslims expressing their distaste for democratic institutions. Disciples of the radical Islamist and al Qaeda linked Omar Bakri Mohammed also expressed their disgust for democracy:

Last night's incident came hours after another group of Muslim men disrupted a general election media meeting of the Muslim Council of Britain. A group thought to be followers of cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed attacked the Council, claiming no one should vote in the election.
It is clear that major weaknesses of democratic societies are the fear and unwillingness to address dark forces such as Hizb ut-Tahrir or Omar Bakri Mohammed within their societies. Socialists and multiculturalists such as George Galloway work to co-opt these organizations while knowing their inherent disgust for the very societies that give them the freedoms of speech and assembly not afforded them in their countries of origin. These events highlight the importance of programs such as “Operation Muslim World Outreach” and the Broader Middle East and North Africa Initiative, as well as the necessity of engagement in Central Asia, a stronghold of Hizb ut-Tahrir [corrected], and the shortcomings of the reliance on lawfare in dealing with radical Islam. Like it or not, this war is bigger than just al Qaeda, it is a struggle against radical Islam and the antidemocratic forces that succor these uncivilized and unenlightened practices.

Lou Dobb's Finally On Board to Report the News?

Lou Dobbs may get into the act regarding Obama's lack of qualification to be president. On his radio show he called for Obama to produce the actual birth certificate. After the embarrassing CCN show ridiculing the issue, when he was "sick," he has not taken up the cause. Its ironic how this story has been old news for months but some in the lamestream media have just picked up on it. Perhaps they have been savvy in their search for ratings and they were waiting for Obama to fail first before denouncing him. Better late than never.

India Rejects Cap and Tax Proposal

India rejected Clinton's ridiculous proposal to prevent their growth. Jairam Ramesh, India’s environment minister, told Clinton, “And as if this pressure was not enough, we also face the threat of carbon tariffs on our exports to countries such as yours.” The world is not fooled by this regime's proposal to hinder economic growth and has steadfastly rejected the regime's proposals. China also has clearly denounced the regime's suggestions that they harm themselves. New Delhi has sided with Beijing to oppose binding caps on its carbon emissions. “The visit takes place amid a pervasive sense of unease in India that the Obama administration is less enthusiastic about the bilateral relationship than its predecessor,” said Seema Desai, an analyst at the Eurasia Group.

Some leading nations of the world are less thrilled with Obama than they were with Bush.

Rep. Mike Castle (R - DE) On the Spot When Asked About Obama's Birth Certificate

Mike Castle got something he had not expected while conducting a meeting about health care rationing. An unidentified woman asked about Obama's long form birth certificate. Castle simply repeated the hear-say evidence widely reported by the regime's propaganda machine.

Its also interesting to note the hostile and discriminatory comments about the elderly on YouTube in response to this clip. Health care rationing will harm the elderly most acutely.

Obamacare

India Reports on Natural Born Citizen Issue

The Statesman, a publication in India, reported on Obama's issues with the Constitution while Clinton visited the country. Then reported on the issues for both sides in a fair manner.

“Is Obama’s presidency threatened?

Rajinder Puri

Even while US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pursues her five-day visit to India, an event has occurred in the USA that could conceivably snowball into a major controversy to cut short President Obama’s tenure.

Article 2, Section 1 of the US Constitution states: “No person except a US born citizen… shall be eligible to the office of President.”

During the last US campaign a controversy arose about Obama’s birthplace. Critics were unsure if he was born in the USA or Kenya. Obama’s campaign committee released a Hawaiian birth certificate on 13 June, 2008. Sceptics alleged that it had signs of forgery.

Obama maintained he was born in Hawaii. One hospital, Honolulu ‘s Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children, claims it received a letter from the President declaring his birth there. But White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs refused to authenticate the letter. For nearly six months the hospital proudly declared Obama was born at its facility to create poll hype. Later it covered up and refused to confirm if the letter actually existed. The letter was purportedly signed by Barak Obama. If the signature was forged it was a most serious offence. Was any action taken against the Hospital?

This week the controversy about Obama’s birthplace resurfaced dramatically. A US Army Reserve, Major Stefan Frederick Cook, scheduled for deployment to Afghanistan, refused to serve claiming that the order was illegal because the American President was not legitimate. He argued that he should not be required to serve under a President "who has not proven his eligibility for office.”

Obama's Corrupt Administration Continues

The whistle-blower who was doing his job, Gerald Walpin, has decided to sue the regime for an improper dismissal.

Byron York reports in today’s Washington Examiner:

Gerald Walpin, the AmeriCorps inspector general who was summarily fired in June amid controversy over his investigation of a politically-connected supporter of President Obama, has filed suit alleging that the firing was “unlawful,” “politically driven,” “procedurally defective” and “a transparent and clumsily-conducted effort to circumvent the protections” given to inspectors general under the Inspectors General Reform Act of 2008.

Walpin’s suit, filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, is against the Corporation for National and Community Service, which oversees AmeriCorps. Also named are Nicola Goren, the acting CEO of the Corporation, Frank Trinity, its general counsel, and Raymond Limon, the Corporation’s “chief human capital officer.” The suit asks the court to declare Walpin’s firing unlawful and restore him to his position as the Corporation’s inspector general.

[...]

In the suit, Walpin alleges that all three actions were violations of the job protections given to inspectors general. “There have been at least three attempts to unlawfully remove Mr. Walpin from his post,” the suit says, “the first orally on June 10; the second by writing on June 11; and the third by writing on June 16.”

In addition, Walpin charges that the White House, in its eagerness to remove him for political purposes, never investigated the reasons it cited for the firing. “In the haste to remove Mr. Walpin from his post, not only were there…failures to comply with the statutorily-mandated procedures to preserve the integrity of the Inspector General post from politically motivated job actions,” the suit says, “no investigation was made into the facts alleged as the basis for Mr. Walpin’s termination. In particular, there was no attempt to interview Mr. Walpin or ay members of the staff of the Office of Inspector General who were personally involved in each of the [investigations], nor any of the board members.”

Ed Morrissey writes at Hot Air:

Walpin hasn’t asked for damages in this suit, at least not yet. He wants his attorney costs reimbursed, but mainly he wants the court to force the Obama administration to reinstate him as the IG. Such a determination would underscore the need for IGs to remain politically independent of the executive, especially once they discover fraud involving a presidential contributor.

How realistic would this be? A lawsuit may take years to resolve, and the Obama administration will certainly appeal any judgment against it, either verdicts or injunctions. Walpin is 77 years old now. Realistically speaking, Walpin has almost no chance of effectively winning back his job through the courts. His best hope would be a Republican takeover of Congress in 2010, followed by a real investigation into how Norman Eisen, Obama’s Special Counsel for Ethics and Government Reform, tried to intimidate Walpin into resigning, and then smeared him as senile when that blew up in Eisen’s face.

John Hinderaker at Power Line opines:

The administration can deal with the suit in some combination of four ways: move for dismissal, move to stay the case, move for a confidentiality order that will prevent facts learned in discovery from becoming public, or buy Walpin off with a settlement. Based on my limited knowledge, it’s hard to see grounds for either a dismissal or a stay, and it will be tough to run out the clock given that the Obama administration has 3 1/2 years left, at least. And Walpin may prove hard to buy off: he got into trouble with the administration (and with the AmeriCorps board) because he wanted to stand on principle rather than sweep a scandal under the rug for the sake of stimulus money, and his suit doesn’t request money damages–only reinstatement. It will be interesting to see whether Obama decides the better part of valor lies in giving Walpin his old job back.

CNN TRANSCRIPT

Kitty Pilgrim sitting in for Lou Dobbs, Orly Taitz, Alan Keyes, Errol Louis, John Avlon.

KITTY PILGRIM: Coming up, the discredited rumor that won’t go away. Now, questions about President Obama’s place of birth and his eligibility to be president.

PILGRIM: Well, an Army Reserve major is again raising controversy over President Obama’s place of birth. [It never went away.] Now, the Major challenged his deployment orders claiming that President Obama wasn’t born in the United States, and that renders his orders illegal.

Now, a former presidential candidate, Alan Keyes, also filed a lawsuit challenging the president’s right to hold the office, and a hearing on that suit will be held on Monday.

Now, questions about the president’s place of birth have been asked and answered many times since before the election, and the president’s birth certificate says he was born in Hawaii. [This is not factual. The only one who could make this point is Dr. Fukino and Alvin Onaka and they are not quoted on the record anywhere.] The state’s Republic governor and other officials have backed that up. [This is not true. All that was said about Gov. Lingle: "Fukino says that no state official, including Republican Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama's certificate be handled differently." Besides, they can't possibly know that and if they did they are legally unable to address the issue unless Barry gave them permission, which he has not.] CNN has fully investigated the issue, found no basis for the questions about the president’s birthplace, [This is ridiculous. They do not even know what hospital he was born in because Gibbs doesn't even know. The White House has produced conflicting statements about which hospital Barry was born in.] say but the controversy lives on, especially on the Internet.

Joining me now is Orly Taitz and she represents the Army major and filed the Keyes’ lawsuit. Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes joins us. And on the other side, John Avlon who is a columnist with the DailyBeast.com and author of “Independent Nation.” And Errol Louis, columnist for the “New York Daily News” and a CNN, also an attorney.

And so, let me, just before we start, bear with me a bit. There’s overwhelming evidence that proves that his birth certificate is real [This is not true. No genuine long form birth certificate has been made public.] and that was born in Honolulu on August 4, 1961. And if you’ll just bear with me, I’ll run through a little bit of the evidence and then we can get to this discussion. Now, the Annenberg political fact check, which is a nonpartisan group, [This is not true. Barry is directly connected to the Annenberg Foundation. He worked for the Chicago Anneberg Challenge with Bill Ayers. The fact that she doesn't knows this makes clear she does not understand the issue.] went to Chicago to view the birth certificate [If this actually happened then this is not what was photographed and placed on the internet.] last year and they released photos and this statement, “FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. [he lie is that they physically touched the original long form birth certificate. Even Gibbs admitted that that one-sided piece of paper is not a birth certificate. And again, if they did actually see the original long form birth certificate it is not what is posted on their website. They posted a Certification of Live Birth. These two documents are two different items.] We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. [State Department requirements do not include natural born status. There is a distinction between U.S. citizen status and a natural born citizen.] Our conclusion: Obama was born in the USA, [They can not possibly conclude the point based on the documentation so far released.] just has he has always said.”

The Republican governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle, on record, she says Obama was indeed born in her state and we should note, she did support John McCain. [I have no idea what she is talking about. Politifact wrote: Even the governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle, a Republican who at the time was stumping for John McCain, said it was on the up-and-up. But they - a factchecker - provided no direct quote or reference so it is meaningless.] So, we also have a copy of the “Honolulu Advertiser” the newspaper, August 13, and the “Hawaii Star-Bulletin,” August 14, 1961, both announcing Barack Obama’s birth.

Also, October last year, the director of the Hawaii Department of Health wrote a letter stating, “I have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Senator Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedure.” [Yes. But she did not say what was on it and more importantly she said nothing about that COLB on the internet. And her spokeswoman Janice Okubo, who has not seen his actual birth certificate said: "I don't know that it's possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents."]

PolitiFact.com reissued their results from the investigation they conducted in June of last year and they say, “Since we published Obama’s birth certificate, [This is not true; it is not a birth certificate.] questions about its authenticity have been frequent and fierce. After reviewing the evidence, we are confident of our rulings.” ["There is not one shred of evidence to disprove PolitiFact's conclusion that the candidate's name is Barack Hussein Obama, or to support allegations that the birth certificate he released isn't authentic." He didn't release a birth certificate making their "findings" null and void. And the only way to know if that COLB is "authentic" is to see what Dr. Fukino saw. There is nothing proving that COLB has anything to do with his birth certificate.]

This is the last one, thanks for bearing with me. The White House press briefing this week, reporter from the “World Net Daily” pressed again about the birth certificate, the White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs, said this following comment:

ROBERT GIBBS, WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECY: Do all of your listeners and the listeners throughout this country the service to which any journalist owes those listeners, and that is the pursuit of the Nobel Truth, and the Noble Truth is that the president was born in Hawaii, a state of the United States of America.

[She left out his preceding exchange where he admitted as in "I Know" that what was on the internet - the COLB - was not a birth certificate and also that he did not know the name of the hospital Barry was born in.]

PILGRIM: Now, Alan Keyes, you’ve been patient letting me get through all that, but what more do you need to be convinced? [What Dr. Fukino looked at. That, yes, Barry can get.]

(LAUGHTER)

ALAN KEYES, FMR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Some evidence. And the evidence is something that president Obama is strenuously blocking. You ask me to prove that I was born in New York City at the time and hospital I say, and I will give you a certified copy of a full birth certificate with a doctor’s signature, the hospital, and everything else. I won’t direct you to some photograph on the Internet and a bunch of hearsay statements that would not be accepted as evidence in any court of law.

And so the very simple question is, why spend 800,000 to a million dollars blocking the birth certificate? Blocking records at school and college that would in any way have a bearing on the question…

PILGRIM: All right, Alan…

KEYES: Both of his birth and of his citizenship claims at various times in his life. Why is he going to all this trouble, if as they say, the matter is resolved? Can’t be resolved by a bunch of statements and assertions.

PILGRIM: OK, Orly, we have to keep this quicker, but please tell me…[Keyes = 9 sentences.]

ORLY TAITZ, ATTORNEY: OK, Obama never provided his birth certificate. What he provided is certification of live birth that was issued last year that does not have the name of the doctor, does not have the name of the hospital, does not have any signatures. Do you know that Hawaii has a statute 338, that allows foreign-born children of Hawaiian residence to get Hawaiian birth certificates. Did you know that?

PILGRIM: Errol, I would like you to respond. [Taitz gets 4.]

ERROL LOUIS, NEW YORK DAILY NEWS: Listen, I think — I think what we have here is a case where under the guise of saying, well, we can’t trust whether or not he should be president because we don’t have the evidence, it’s actually the reverse. These are folks, and there are a number of them, and some of them are raising money like “World Net Daily” which is as far as I’m concerned, running a scam, where they’re selling all kinds of bumper stickers and stuff like that, and I don’t know what Miss Taitz is taking in the way of legal fees.

(CROSSTALK)

They’re raising legal fees from across the country and the reality is they don’t accept that the president is the president, and, therefore, they work backward and there will never be enough proof to satisfy them.

[He cannot possibly say that until the birth certificate is released.]

PILGRIM: All right, John, I have to let…

You’ve offered a mountain of evidence in addition to two birth announcements. That’s a pretty deep conspiracy. What we have here, you know…

[MOUNTAIN OF EVIDENCE? Go back and read what "evidence" there was. And he is supposedly a lawyer. At least he separates the birth announcements from the word "proof".]

(CROSSTALK)

JOHN AVLON, DAILYBEAST.COM: No, what we have here is Obama derangement syndrome. This pathological hatred of the president posing as patriotism. Ambassador Keyes says that President Obama has called him a radical communist. You on your blog have repeatedly referred to the administration as Gestapo SS. Which is it? Get your story straight. Is he a Nazi or a communist? You guys are nuts.

[What did he say of importance? Where was discussion of fact, evidence, or proof? This is simply an ad hominem statement. I believe the tactic was to divide and counter.]

PILGRIM: Orly, I have to ask you to let everyone at least have their say before you respond to it. I believe we’re out of time, I’m sorry to say.

(LAUGHTER)

TAITZ: Let me say one more thing, in order to be the president, you have to have to have two parents that are citizens. Obama’s father was never a citizen of this country.

PILGRIM: All right, Orly, we have to call it, there. I’m sorry. Thank you very much, all of you, for joining in this very lively debate.

Debate?

Even that is annoying, it was CNN propaganda.
