When Will We Have Another Black President?
The black president will really be black. Obama is half-white, half-black which states the factual truth overlooked by political pundits. However, far more important is the fact that he is not a natural born citizen and does not relate to Americans. His haughtiness and holier than thou demeanor is off-putting at best. Obama's politics have resulted in the mish-mash of mistaken policies and failed political positions that have plagued the country lo' in the glacial pace that his one-term administration has damaged the country. An actual black president will love his native country, even if people disagree with him or her just as the real and actual presidents have done up to this time. At least they are really one of us voters can exclaim. The damage that Obama has done to African-Americans in this country is incalculable. The genuine talents among American blacks is impressive and unfortunately they will be thwarted by Obama's mistakes. Racial progress has taken a giant leap backwards because of Obama. This harms the country aching for a sincere, genuine step forwards such as would have been possible if Colin Powell would have materialized into a credible presidential candidate. Imagine if a Colin Powell type had been elected instead of Obama. That election would have united the country probably as never before in a time of international uncertainty and crisis. I hope Obama has not harmed out country's sensibilities so much that voters overlook the many fine and exceptionally well-qualified American blacks running for office now.

Scheuer on Osama Bin Laden

Reporter: Female beauty is no longer dependent on looks alone. This has been replaced by moral values and conduct the new criteria in the first contest of moral beauty queens in Saudi Arabia. In the contest, which was organized by a womens festival, several girls competed for the title.
Contest supervisor Khadhraa Al-Mubarak: In our contacts with girls in general, we noticed that they follow false notions, due to the purposeless Western notions, conveyed by some TV channels. The girls are preoccupied with their external appearance only. This is how we came up with the idea of creating an alternative. So we thought of a contest for the title of moral beauty queen. The goal is, first and foremost, to spread virtue, even if through different means. In this contest, we focus on the theme of honoring ones parents.

Moral beauty queen Aya Al-Mula: We were like sisters in a family. It was very nice. The contest focused on external skills, such as home design or skin care, and internal abilities, such as interpersonal skills and personal improvement.
First runner-up Hawraa Al-Mahdi: I entered the contest and the courses, which were very nice. They judged my personality, both externally and internally.
Second runner-up Fatima Al-Tarouti: I was the youngest contestant. Even though I didnt win the contest, its enough that I made it to the finals.
Reporter: The contestants acquired many social and interpersonal skills, before the elimination process began and the winner was announced. The contestants who lost did not leave the contest empty-handed. Their very participation in the contest was rewarding.

Hey everybody I just wanted to send a quick update and give Yall the REAL story on what's going on over here with the troop withdrawal. The picture is of my crew and I on a break during a mission. The guy to the far left is my gunner (Burks) and the guy in the middle is my driver (Mizell). They go with me on every mission and are great guys. The reason I'm sending this out is because I have had a few people ask if I left Iraq early because all of the combat troops are out of Iraq and I wanted to let everyone know the real deal. It's kind of ridiculous how the news is saying that the last of the "combat" troops are out of Iraq because of Pres Osama ( I mean Obama ). He says that it was his campaign promise. Take our Brigade for example. We were originally called a HBCT ( Heavy Brigade Combat Team). Well since Obama said he would pull all of the "combat" troops out by Aug all they did before we left was change our name from a HBCT to a AAB ( Advise and Assist Brigade ). We have the same personnel/equipment layout as before and are doing the same missions. The ONLY difference is that they changed our name from a HBCT to an AAB and that's how he is getting away with saying that he has pulled all of the "combat" troops out. It is really ridiculous what he's doing and he has ticked alot of people off. And it's funny how the media is buying all of it to. So no the last combat troops are not out of Iraq we are still here. There are other Brigades just like ours that are doing the same missions that are still over here. Sorry for going on about it but we are just sitting over here watching it and are like "You've got to be kidding me!" So anyway now you know the REAL story so that's why I'm not coming back early. Anyways I hope everyone is doing well and I'll see you soon!

is a tool to create animated speaking avatars. You can create class
pet/mascot/puppet that can ask questions of the students or talk about
weather, day, month, the activities that the children will be doing in
class that day. You can also ask students to create their own avatars
that talk about themselves. If you have a class website, it's also a
good idea to have a Voki avatar that introduces you to the kids and the
parents.
You can start a talk group using Voxopop. You can talk about yourself or ask questions to the kids that you want them to talk or start a discussion on any topic.Voicethread
can be an alternative to Voxopop. If you give the students a book
report assignment for the summer, you can ask them to leave their
comments on a Voicethread by using different commenting styles. The
activities that you can do with Voicethread throughout the year truly
endless.
Online
surveys or polls can be an interesting and a fun way to engage your
children. You can use them to get to know them better or you can design a
survey to learn their opinions about school or what activities they do enjoy in class. SurveyMonkey, Polldaddy, PollEverywhere can be the tools where to start!
If you want to give a quiz at the first days, you can choose a more techie way and use some online quiz generators. EasyTestMaker, HotPotatoes, QuizEgg and QuizMaker are my favourites.
What about asking students to create timelines? Xtimeline or OurStory can be some examples of these tools.

an animated film may seem difficult to produce, luckily we have Web 2.0
tools to make it very easy and fun for us and for our students. Zimmertwins, Xtranormal and DVolver are
my favourite tools.You can create a film starter and ask the children
to guess the ending or create their own films on any topic you've given
them. These sites are new ways to engage your kids and improve their
creativity.
EduGlogster can
be an awesome way to use in class all throughout the year. You can
create a colourful glog for your children with links, pictures, animated
pictures, colourful background, audio or with a video. You can create a
glog to introduce yourself/your lesson, brainstorm ideas with students or

Black Conservatives Refuse the Plantation Mentality
The Runaway Slave movie crews were at Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor Rally” and at Al Sharpton’s “Reclaiming the Dream March” on Aug 28th. As the two ideologies clashed in DC, movie crews were on the scene. Painful Viewing: Barry Soetoro Talking with Heroes
Without a teleprompter it is painful to watch Barry mouth the words that are so meaningless to him. Don't be deceived New York Times and CNN miss critical analysis of overhyped Muslim counter-radicalization video
The critical analysis is missing from the video especially after reading the transcript. The video
is misleading to say the least. There is no discussion of the ends of the Islamic state, jihad, sharia, and within the ummah the video will have no impact on the war of ideas within the House of Islam. Moderate and secular Muslims receive no recognition in this latest salvo in the war of ideas.
Islamism is not simply a problem of "violence"; rather, there is a deeper ideological discontinuity between political Islam and classical liberalism. For the ideological war to be successful we would need to see someone of the intellect and stature, within the Islamic community, of a Voltaire or a Diderot, an equivalent reformer or movement akin to the Reformation or the Enlightenment.
As Zuhdi Jasser notes:
The entire cause of political Islam will ultimately need to be intellectually defeated. Political Islam is a theocratic system of shariah law that is anathema to Western secular liberal democracies and an impediment to the genuine practice of a spiritual Islam. The Muslim consciousness needs a separation of mosque and state, which these Islamist imams will deeply fight.

Obama Perturbed by America
Obama dismissed a recent poll showing that a third of Americans do not believe that he is a Christian--and of course he blamed an online campaign of misinformation by his conservative enemies for perpetuating the myth that he’s a Muslim.
Obama, speaking with NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams on Sunday afternoon, was equally dismissive of conservative talk show host Glenn Beck. He must have been glued to reports and he is concerned that Beck is mobilizing a religious and non–political audience against his regime.
Williams, sitting under a tent in a rain-soaked New Orleans, where the First Family commemorated the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, asked Obama why so many people were uncertain about something so fundamental as his faith.
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” quipped Obama, who took a deep breath to gather his thoughts when asked if the poll reflected his inability to communicate with voters.
“The facts are the facts. We went through some of this during the campaign — there is a mechanism, a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly,” said a visibly annoyed Obama, referring to “birthers,” who have waged a guerrilla campaign questioning either the existence or the validity of his Hawaiian birth certificate. He is being coy here; the issue is not his birthplace but the fact that he is not a natural born citizen and thus not eligible to hold the office.
A stunning 18 percent of Americans identify Obama as Muslim, according to a Pew poll released earlier this month. Only a third identified Obama as a Christian. The issue is that Americans can not recognize the brand of Christianity that Obama espouses. His spiritual mentor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, does not reflect the religion of a majority of Americans. It is an alien creed.
His odd mixture of support and throwing others under the bus were clear with his comments on the Victory mosque on sacred ground in New York.
Obama doubled down on his support for a mosque planned and he denied reports that he tried to back away from backing the controversial project.
“I didn’t walk it back it all,” he said. “I was very specific with my team… The core value and principle that every American is treated the same doesn’t change… At [a White House Ramadan celebration], I had Muslim Americans who had been in uniform fighting in Iraq… How can you say to them that their religious faith is less worthy of respect?... That’s something that I feel very strongly about.”
The president, a harsh critic of the Bush administration’s sluggish response to Katrina, bristled when asked if the BP Gulf oil spill was his administration’s Katrina – because of a failure to act quickly enough.
Obama has a huge credibility gap.

The flag of the communist Chinese regime has been raised over festivities near the White House honoring the nation's 60th anniversary, according to reports from the Chinese Central television network's English-language report. It was the first time the Chinese national flag was raised in a public place in Washington. Reservations include those who referred to Chosin. This was a Korean War conflict in which 60,000 troops from China crossed into North Korea to attack American troops at the reservoir. More than 4,000 Americans died.

President Reagan marked the beginning of American Education Week and spoke to school students in the East Room of the White House. He talked about the foundations of American government, the values of democracy, and the regard for the United States held by other countries. He also answered questions from the students. The event was telecast in several classrooms throughout the country.
The interesting aspect of the broadcast is that the kids are articulate and ask questions about the deficit, Reagan asks them what they are proudest about America, and he appears genuinely interested in their future. He thought we had morning in America.

Death of Public Free Speech in America: Impeach Obama Not Allowed
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. -- First Amendment
The most basic component of freedom of expression is the right of freedom of speech. The right to freedom of speech allows individuals to express themselves without interference or constraint by the government. The Supreme Court has also recognized that the government may prohibit some speech that may cause a breach of the peace or cause violence. Words which would likely make the person whom they are addressed commit an act of violence which obviously does not apply in this instance. Fighting words are a category of speech that is unprotected by the First Amendment: Cf. Chaplinsky v New Hampshire, 315 U.S. 568 (1942). In this instance, people are so festive at this Alaskan State Fair that people are having their picture taken with the individual. The only coercion is first by the security guards and then the police. The speaker did nothing wrong by expressing his opinion.

New Reports Warn of Chinese Naval Buildup
A number of major developments in the Chinese military build-up is alarming.
The WSJ headline went to the heart of the matter. Since May, there have been a series of competing naval maneuvers near the Korean peninsula and in the South China Sea which have highlighted the growing confrontation between Beijing’s ambitions and the security interests of the United States and other nations along the Pacific Rim. Capturing Taiwan would help China penetrate the “first island chain” that runs from Japan through Taiwan to the Philippines and then to Indonesia. Beijing thinks of the waters between the mainland and the island nations to the east as being Chinese territorial seas. The Pentagon report notes that the PRC is developing its own legal doctrine which is “inconsistent with international law” in regard to control of the trade routes and seabed resources of the region.
Another useful document which has not gotten the same attention as the publicly released Pentagon report is the study “China Naval Modernization: Implications for U.S. Navy Capabilities—Background and Issues for Congress” by Ronald O’Rourke of the Congressional Research Service. Though written for use on Capitol Hill, the study has become available on the internet. The CRS report notes Chinese objectives beyond an “anti-access” strategy meant to isolate Taiwan from outside help in a war to conquer the island. “Some observers believe that China’s military modernization effort, including its naval modernization effort, is increasingly oriented toward pursuing additional goals, such as asserting or defending China’s claims in maritime territorial disputes, protecting China’s sea lines of communications, displacing U.S. influence in the Pacific, and asserting China’s status as a major world power.”

Following McChrystal, we have now had the Marine Corps Commandant speaking out and now Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The American military is stepping up to the plate and warning Americans. It is the citizen's duty now to respond by voting in larger numbers in November and to get ready for 2012.
Fed Flummoxed by Stagnation
The Fed is most concerned about disinflation or a period or process of slowing the rate of inflation. But our latest hapless Chair of the Fed, Bernanke, stated that the only issue is whether “the benefits of each tool, in terms of additional stimulus, outweigh the associated costs or risks of using the tool”. The Federal Open Market Committee is split and really no one knows what to do in light of nearly flat GDP growth; Obama has touted this as the summer of recovery but there is no recovery in sight and now the Fed is flummoxed with indecision. No matter how positive the spin is placed on our precarious economic condition it is difficult to avoid the reality indicated by Bernanke who has stated that preconditions for a pick-up in growth in 2011 “appear to remain in place”. The most positive spin Bernanke can attach to our economic condition is possibly the beginning of growth in '11? This is bleak.

Since 2001 the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation, also funds projects to restore Christian and Buddhist sites as well as museums, forts and palaces. This seems like a good program to end; the American taxpayer should not be funding any religious sites.
