How Many Dead People Registered to Vote in the Florida Election (So Far)?

In answer to the question of how many dead Floridians plan to vote thus far in the Presidential election: the answer is 1,636.

Berg at Supreme Court to File Injunction Against Obama

Democrat Philip J. Berg, Esq., rallied today at the U.S. Supreme Court to file for an injunction to stay the Presidential election pending a Writ of Certiorari regarding Obama by claiming he is not qualified to be President of the United States since he is not a natural born citizen.

Al Qaeda Wants Republicans To Lose

Abu Yahya al-Libi, an al Qaeda leader, has called for Bush and the Republicans to be "humiliated," according to a newly video posted on the Internet.

"O God, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him," the video stated. The video went on to compare Bush past tyrants in history.

India Rocks: 61 Dead, 13 Simultaneous Bombs

India was rocked with a complex, highly coordinated, and simultaneous bombing attack in Assam. Sixty-one Indians were killed and more than 470 were wounded in the multiple blasts. Thirteen bombs were detonated together and were apparently designed to maximize casualties. The primary suspect in the attacks is the Bangladesh-based Harkat ul Jihad al Islami, or HuJI-B. This terror group has been behind multiple bombings in India over the past several years.

13th Province in Iraqi Hands

The security control of Wasit province was turned over to the Iraqis which makes it the 13th of Iraq's 18 provinces to be handed over to Iraq in what formerly was the most violence-plagued areas of the country. Wasit has a 200-kilometre (125-mile) border with Iran and Iran has regularly smuggled weapons into Iraq for attacks against Coalition troops.

Shortly the northern oil-rich but ethnically volatile region of Kirkuk and of Salaheddin, the Sunni home province of executed dictator Saddam Hussein, will also revert to Iraqi security control.

The U.S. military remains in Baghdad, Nineveh, and Diyala.

Ahmadinejad Endorses Obama

President Ahmadinejad of Iran is endorsing Obama in the hopes that he will lessen the almost three decades of hostility between the two countries. Iran is prepared for Obama in that Iran just built a naval base east of the Strait of Hormuz in a bid to boost its military control over the strategic Gulf waters. Admiral Habibollah Sayyari was quoted as stating that Iran "can prevent the entry of any enemy naval units into the strategic Persian Gulf area if need be,” in that the base is located in the port town of Jask on the Sea of Oman.

An estimated 40% of the world’s oil passes through the narrow channel between Iran and Oman.

Germany Standing by Pakistan

Germany is standing by its commitment to Pakistan in its security and economic woes to help promote peace, according to German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. He was joined with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Qureshi said Pakistan was looking for strengthened trade ties with Germany and its help in accessing European markets for exports, particularly in textiles, stressing that it wanted to be self-sufficient. Pakistan is facing a worsening security situation and needs up to 4.5 billion dollars (3.5 billion euros) to deal with a balance of payments crisis.

Senior Taliban Perhaps Out

Graphic source: The Long War Journal

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Haji Omar Khan, a senior Taliban leader in South Waziristan who has strong ties to Mullah Omar, is said to have been killed in the strike that is believed to have killed an estimated 16 to 20 people, including "foreigners." Khan has strong ties to Pakistani Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud as well as the powerful Haqqani family which the U.S. has been targeting of late.

If this elimination is confirmed, it would indicate that on the same day, Coalition troops took out high-value targets (HVT) in both the Iraqi and the Afghan fronts. This is an impressive display before the next election in the U.S.

Syrian Incursion Clears Out AQ Operative Ghadiya and Staff

Graphic source: The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency

The Road to Mesopotamia is a bit clearer with the U.S. incursion into Syria. The tract was written by a jihadi named Al Muhajir Al Islami, and discovered in the summer of 2005. Al Qaeda established a network of operatives inside Syria to move foreign fighters, weapons, and cash to support its terror activities inside Iraq.

Since then, operatives and weapons moved from Syria to Iraq. Until now that is. Al Qaeda leader Abu Ghadiya and the entire senior leadership of Ghadiya's network was also killed in the raid into Syria.

Several U.S. helicopters entered Sukkariya, near Abu Kamal, in eastern Syria, just five miles from Iraq. U.S. commandos from the hunter-killer teams of Task Force 88 cleared the buildings sheltering Ghadiya and his staff.

The Syrian government has protested the attack and the government claimed eight civilians, including women and children, were killed in the strike. However, the Associated Press disputed the Syrian account, and noted that only the bodies of seven men were displayed, Ghadiya's staff.

Presidential Debate: Nader and Baldwin

An actual debate by two third party candidates was covered by C-Span.

Tape Confirms Obama Not a Natural Born Citizen

Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program that he has a tape recording of a telephone call from the senator's paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Mombosa, Kenya. Obama's grandmother affirmed she "was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961." The Pennsylvania Democrat has sued Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship-–and therefore qualification to run for president.

The issue of Obama's birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii.

Berg said he's pursuing the issue because of "the most important document in the United States, the U.S. Constitution."

Besides Berg's lawsuit, several other court challenges also have been filed, including one in Washington state where petitioners are seeking to have the Washington secretary of state "verify Obama's eligibility" to serve prior to the election.

The claim states, "The 'certificate' that Mr. Obama has posted on his official Website is a 'Certification of Live Birth,' and not a 'Birth Certificate' from Hawaii. There is no indication on even this certificate as to specifically where the birth took place."

The Washington state case also alleges, "Wayne Madsen, Journalist with Online Journal as a contributing writer and published an article on June 9, 2008, stating that a research team went to Mombassa, Kenya, and located a Certificate Registering the birth of Barack Obama, Jr. at a Kenya Maternity Hospital, to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a U.S. citizen.

When Jerome Corsi, an investigator reporter, recently traveled to Kenya to investigate several questions about the candidate, he was told the records were sealed and would not be made available.

Berg said he believed it also was a complication that Obama's mother divorced his father, married and moved to Indonesia for several years and Obama attended school there at a time when, Berg said, only Indonesia citizens were allowed in schools. Records that are available from Indonesia revealed Obama was registered in school as Barry Soetoro, and his religion was listed as Islam.

When Obama later returned to Hawaii, within the United States, there should have been a government document affirming his citizenship, but that also cannot be found. If that was not processed properly, Berg said, Obama would be in a situation even worse than not being a natural-born citizen.

"If he didn't go through immigration, he now is illegal and has been an illegal alien. He couldn't even hold the position of senator for Illinois," Berg said.

Further, Berg said he suspected Obama's college records may indicate he received aid as a foreigner, and that's why those records have been withheld by the campaign.

"I really think it's because it probably indicates he's from Kenya, or Indonesia, or received foreign aid," Berg said.

Berg has a tape from Obama's paternal grandmother affirming that he was born in Kenya. He is not a natural-born citizen so he is constitutionally illegible to be president. Obama only has a certificate of live birth, not a valid American birth certificate. Others have begun to challenge Obama's birth as well. Most likely, Obama is actually either a Kenyan, or an Indonesian Muslim. He may be an illegal alien. Other records that could confirm his citizenship, student records, have not been released.

Jihad Preached on U.S. Cable TV

Gary Baumgarten interviews New York Sun correspondent Youssef Ibrahim who reported that Jihad is being advocated via Arabic TV on cable News Talk Online on Paltalk in the United States.

Charles Maier on the Bush Doctrine

In regards to Bush and Iraq, Maier claims that the President's policies
have been "calamitous," (p. 60), "reckless," (p. 62), a series of
"adventures" (p. 63), and "testosterone-fueled" (p. 78); thus, with that
polemic, Maier can hardly be taken seriously. Unless he is willing to
engage the issues his analysis is flawed.

Maier wants to establish that interactions between countries actually
occur below the level of official diplomacy, at that level of motivation
and the basest instinct of human beings, religion. Yet, he returns to
official state representatives, not the below actors considered important
earlier, and finds, of all things, moderate Islam (p. 69)? If his
intention is to find and discover religion, below the surface, you would
think this would be an easy search to conduct. Any number of radical,
jihadist examples proliferate in the world but moderate Islamic world
spokespersons are much harder to find. Not one moderate Islamic
spokesperson has emerged from the Middle East; the discovery of a Martin
Luther King, Jr., or a Mother Theresa from the Middle East is not
forthcoming. We are left with the world we are actually in and not the
world Maier describes.

Maier is all over the place in his search for authentic cultural
expression from below. He even includes "street theater" (p. 72). His
argument is not simple as he suggests (p. 61), but simplistic. He
approvingly quotes Fareed Zakaria, the celebrator of America's decline
(The Future of Freedom, The Post-American World), who naively describes
Weimar as a "model democracy" (p. 76), by ignoring its obvious
limitations.

The Weimar republic faced severe problems from the start. Politically, it
was weak because Germany had many small parties. The chancellor had to
form coalitions that easily fell apart.

The government, led by moderate democratic socialists, came under
constant fire from both the left and right. Communists demanded radical
changes like those Lenin had brought to Russia. Conservatives—including
the old Junker nobility, military officers, and wealthy bourgeoisie—
attacked the government as too liberal and weak. They longed for another
strong leader like Bismarck. Germans of all classes blamed the Weimar
Republic for the hated Versailles treaty. Bitter, they looked for
scapegoats. Many blamed German Jews for economic and political problems.
Weimar was not a model democracy, it was a flawed republic from its
creation in 1919.

But Maier is not quite done with analyzing religion. He remarks: "we must
work to attenuate the passions of religion" (p. 80). How, he does not say
since he is correct in viewing religion as a phenomenon from below and he
should appreciate that the winds of religion blow where they will.
However, it is true that Turkey may be an example of one Islamic country
that largely maintains a secular government as opposed to Islamist
religionists holding sway. Yet, Maier makes the staggering proposition
that "ultimately Iran" will have a "constituency of middle-class electors
concerned with property and humane values" (p. 80).

That Iran will peacably evolve into a European-like Christian Democracy
is preposterous. Iranian development is not simply rhetoric but the
reality of Iran is alarming. Iran is a country that willingly sacrificed
one million of its own citizens in its disastrous war against Iraq from
1980-1988. What European Christian Democracy would do this today?
Maier does not seriously consider Bush's doctrine and he seriously
distorts and misunderstands the phenomenon of religion, particularly
Islamism.

Obama Connections to Terrorist Ayers

For the record, and just to be complete, here are links documenting some of Obama's many connections to William Ayers:

• Ayers and Obama worked together for years on a school reform program called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

• Ayers and Obama also served together on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago, a separate charity organization.

• Obama had his political coming-out party in William Ayers' home.

Ayers mentions Obama by name in a book he wrote in 1997, and mentions that the two are very close neighbors.

• Obama gave a short glowing review of that same Ayers book for the Chicago Tribune.

• Obama and Ayers were both presenters together on a panel about juvenile justice (organized by Michelle Obama).

• Both Obama and Ayers were close friends with the same person, Rashid Kalidi.

• There are also several unverified rumors swirling around that have not been documented: That Ayers may have helped to write part (or all) of Obama's autobiography; that Obama and Ayers shared an office space together for three years, on the same floor of the same building in Chicago; and that Ayers and Obama may have known each other as far back as 1981.

On April 12, 2002, Ayers said during an interview with a college radio station:
I considered myself partly an anarchist then and consider myself partly an anarchist now. I mean I'm as much an anarchist as I am a Marxist.... I'm very open about what I think and nobody here is surprised by what I think." Obama was working directly with Ayers within days of this interview being given--and for years prior and afterward.

Obama-Mate Ayers Planned to Exterminate 25 Million

The testimony of FBI informant Larry Grathwohl appeared in the 1982 documentary No Place to Hide. He explains how the Weather Underground, led by Obama-mate, Bill Ayers, and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, planned the extermination of 25 million fellow Americans who were capitalists but would have to be eliminated if their plans were to succeed.

Advertising Works

In terms of revenue spent, according to the Campaign Media Analysis Group, what advertising campaign spent the most on advertising?

AT&T

Verizon

Barack Hussein Obama

McDonald’s

Sprint PCS

T-Mobile

Obama’s campaign has spent far more money selling its candidate on television than most major brand name companies do selling their products. Obama spent $250 million the past four months-—equivalent to $750 million in a full year. McCain is projected to have spent about $110 million.

Iraqi - Iran Showdown

Graphic source: The Long War Journal

Iraqi troops seem better able to counter Iranian forces in eastern Iraq. Al Kut in Wasit province is an area of conflict and the Iraqis appear to be holding their own. Al Kut served as a strategic distribution hub for weapons smuggled into Iraq where they were employed against Iraqi and Coalition forces as well against Iraqi politicians. The Iraqi Army stood up to the Iranian-backed Mahdi Army from Al Kut during operations during the summer of 2008 while the U.S. troops were clearly out Sadr City and other places.

Presidential Candidate: Change, Curry Favor with the World, Peace

During this election, some are saying that Washington does not respond to them, we need a government that we can feel proud about,

we need a leader for a change. This of course has all been said before, presidential candidates haven't evolved much at all once you look back, for example, this was the appeal in 1976 as well. As the U.S. slid into

1980, and sought to curry favor abroad, emphasizing our peacemaker role, the world communicated what it thought of such high-minded idealism. On November 4, 1979, a group of Iranian students stormed the American embassy in Tehran. Protesting the entry of the deposed Shah into the United States, they held 53 Americans hostage. For the next twelve months, the hostage situation was an ongoing American nightmare magnified by constant media attention. Confidence in President Carter eroded as a result of the Iran crisis, an oil shortage and resultant increase in gas prices, and eighteen-percent inflation. In earlier presidential races, even when the candidate tried to emphasize how prepared they were for military command if need be, and advocated the position that nations would reach out and touch each other, the world summarily dismissed the U.S. The world sees us as weak when we portray this image. We don't have to be warmongers to portray ourselves as ready to defend ourselves and American interests.
