Obama Accepting Untraceable Donations: Now Accusing Political Opponents of Same

Even the Washington Post reported on Obama's foreign money during the campaign.

Largest Purchase of U.S. Energy Assets by State-Run Chinese Company

China Claims Texas Oil, Gas

Analysts expect few political or regulatory hurdles to the deal which I suppose means that no one in the Federal government thought that maybe the state-owned Chinese company might use these energy assets for their military. The company is said to increase its rig count in South Texas from 10 rigs to about 40 by the end of 2012. The Americans will be selling off its natural riches, in addition to hampering American companies with regulations, who would otherwise profit from the reserves, all in the hopes of raising cash, creating jobs, and finally getting the opportunity to buy back energy products that originally were the natural resources of the Americans.
Energy consumption in the world’s most populous nation has doubled in less than a decade, and the International Energy Agency reported in July that China surpassed the U.S. in total energy used in 2009.
China has poured some $20 billion in loans and direct investments into Brazil’s offshore oil exploration and production, for example. And last spring, the Chinese government loaned $20 billion to Venezuela to develop oil fields in its Orinoco River basin, with much of the work awarded to Chinese companies.
All this comes on the heels of an Obama-appointed 7 October panel statement which concluded that the Obama administration was slow to ramp up its response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, then overreacted as public criticism turned the disaster into a political liability. The staff of a special commission investigating the disaster stated their conclusions in four papers issued by the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling.

Obama benefited his pal George Soros by outsourcing American jobs to Brazil.

AUDIO of Sharron Angle suggesting Sharia Law a threat in America

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/plum-line/SharronAngle0929.mp3

Here is a stab at transcribing the exchange in question, which comes at around the 43 minute mark:

QUESTIONER: I keep hearing about Muslims wanting to take over the United States. And I want to know your thoughts about that. They are building mosques all over the place. They want to build one near [ground zero]. And they seem to be getting their way. On a TV program just last night I saw that they are taking over a city in Michigan. And the residents, they want them out. They want them out. I wanted your thoughts.
ANGLE: We're talking about a militant terrorist situation, which I believe isn't a widespread thing. But it is enough that we need to address, and we have been addressing it. My thoughts are these. First of all, Dearborn, Michigan, and Frankford, Texas are on American soil, and under Constitutional law. Not Sharia law. And I don't know how that happened in the United States.
It seems to me there is something fundamentally wrong with allowing a foreign system of law to even take hold in any municipality or government situation in our United States.

State snatches baby when dad accused of being 'Oath Keeper'

Government Agents Seize Oath Keeper's New Born From Hospital
Concord Hospital, NH, Wed. Oct. 7th, 2010

Last Night John Irish & Stephanie Janvrin had their new born baby girl taken away by government officials because of their involvement with Oath Keepers, a non violent constitutional organization. According to Irish, The Director of Security and the Head Nurse of the Hospital said "we want the pediatrician to check the baby in the nursery so that you can go home." The baby was wheeled out in the bassinet under the protest of Irish. Irish followed them out and took note of 3-4 men wearing suits with detective badges as well as 3 police officers.

The Division of Family Child Services proceeded to pat down John and inform the parents they would be taking the daughter. "They Stole our Child" says John Irish. An Affidavit was produced that claimed an affiliation with a militia called Oath Keepers. Irish claims Oath Keepers is a non violent organization. John and Stephanie were able to spend a few minutes with their daughter and were forced to leave. A security officer escorted the two out of the hospital.

I have a copy of the affidavit and I can tell you that it says verbatim these words "The Division became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as "Oath Keepers", and had purchased several different types of weap...ons including a rifle, handgun and a taser." (none of which is illegal, and anyone who has ever been to oathkeepers website knows that they are not a "militia".

Comments From the Father (Found on Oath Keepers Site):
Alright everyone, I apologize that I never singed up on the new site. I never had 5 free minutes to, my fiancee had a rough pregnancy to say the least so I had to drop from the ranks. Yes, Stewart has the documents that I had faxed to him and no it is not mis-information. Celia, I know you are only hearing "one side" but you are hearing the TRUTH, there entire affidavit is nothing but false claims with not back bone or evidence what so ever. They have fabricated lies upon fabricated lies, the only evidence they have is what comes out of there mouth, they have nothing to provide to substantiate they ridiculous hollow claims I honestly don't understand how the hell the did this my head is still spinning, it feels like I am in a VERY bad dream that won't end. Thank you all for your support, I need to get in with her. She hasn't stopped balling her eyes out for about 12 hours now.

I am going to rack out because my fiancee and I are over exhausted with all of this. If any of you think this is a "scam" or something of the sort watch Alex Jones tomorrow I think he has me on at 12 noon. People will know then, my daughter was stolen the only scam going on here is the one that the State of NH is pulling.

Obama Seeks Confirmation of Judicial Nominees as Priority for Lame Duck Congress

Obama Seeks Confirmation of Judicial Nominees as Priority for Lame Duck Congress

A controversial appellate nominee is University of California-Berkley law Professor Goodwin Liu.

“First, contrary to the conventional wisdom that ‘the Constitution is a charter of negative rather than positive liberties,’ the social citizenship tradition assigns equal constitutional status to negative rights against government oppression and positive rights to government assistance on the ground that both are essential to liberty,” Liu wrote in the Yale Law Journal on Nov. 1, 2006.

In that article, he added, “Beyond a minimal safety net, the legislative agenda of equal citizenship should extend to systems of support and opportunity that, like education, provide a foundation for political and economic autonomy and participation. The main pillars of the agenda would include basic employment supports, such as expanded health insurance, child care, transportation subsidies, job training, and a robust earned income tax credit.”

During Liu’s confirmation hearing in April, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) brought up an article by Liu published in the Daito University Law School Journal in Japan that said, “The use of foreign authority in American constitutional law is a judicial practice that has been very controversial in recent years. The resistance to this practice is difficult for me to grasp since the United States can hardly claim to have a monopoly on wise solutions to common legal problems faced by constitutional democracies around the world.”

Use of foreign authorities is a slippery slope that has ocurred in recent years.

There is growing concern regarding the declining number of U.S. engineering and science graduates and the drop in U.S. innovation and competitiveness.

1. Is the U.S. walking away from leading the world in innovation and technology advancement and settling for being high-level consumers of off-shore technology?
2. Will new “green” jobs created through government stimulus help revitalize the nation’s interest in science, engineering and technology? What educational areas do you think may be impacted?
3. If you were appointed Innovation Czar, where would you begin in helping the U.S. regain competitive leadership? What needs to change?

Higher Education to be placed under political supervision?

Obama to Control Higher Education as Well?

How Much Did Obama Lost to BP?

It seemed like a miracle that Obama was able to convince BP to establish a $20 billion escrow fund to compensate those hurt by the oil plume in the Gulf of Mexico. After all, he had no constitutional power to force them to do so.

Ever wonder why BP made the concession so quickly?

Take a closer look at the effect on BP's finances for the answer:

1. BP will establish a $20 billion fund, but will pay only $7 billion into it during 2010

2. BP is a British corporation, but has a very large operating entity in the US.. However, only about 30% of its income is derived  from the US.

3. By Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), BP must book the entire $20 billion expense in the year accrued. Therefore, they will book a $20 billion expense in 2010, reducing their  US  tax liability by $7 billion.
4. Obama also convinced this massive corporation to show their concern for the "small people" by withholding dividends to their shareholders for the last 3 quarters of 2010. This reduces their outward cash flow by about $7.5 billion, including approximately 40% of that amount to US citizens. If the Bush tax cuts survive through 2010, the US Treasury will lose another $450 million in taxes on that amount. No need to even discuss the effect on the US economy.

Now, let's summarize the results into bullet points easily understood by all.

BP Cash Flow

o Escrow funding ($7 billion)

o Dividend saving $7.5 billion

o Tax savings $7 billion

o Net favorable cash flow:
$7.5 billion

US Treasury Tax Receipts:
o from BP Corporate income tax.... minus $7.5 billion

o from BP Shareholders' income tax ..... minus $0.45 billion

o Net loss of US dividend income tax receipts ..... minus  $3.0 billion
o Total tax receipts loss: $10.95 billion.
Did Obama "Kick Ass", or did he get "Sucker Punched"? Or, is this another 'back room deal' Obama negotiated which will ultimately get him a huge financial 'plum'? Should Obama be negotiating anything dealing with money and finances at all?
Bottom line: The $20 Billion BP is putting up will create a $7.5 Billion positive cash flow for BP this year and a $10.95 billion loss to the US  Treasury.

In reality, BP executives are laughing at him and kicked his ass. He is in over his head when he starts dealing with savvy business people.

Introduction to "The Roots of Obama's Rage" by Dinesh D'Souza

Obama's Ideology, anti-Colonialism

October 3, 1993: Black Hawk Down, Beginning of the War on Terror

Obama Advisor Promotes Sharia

Obama adviser on Muslim affairs, Dalia Mogahed, was interviewed by Islamists in London to talk about Sharia Law. Mogahed sit on Obama's Council on Faith-Based and Neighbourhood Partnerships. She stated that Sharia Law is misunderstood.

The London-based TV discussion programme was hosted by Ibtihal Bsis, a member of the Islamist Hizb ut Tahrir party. The group believes in the destruction of Western democracy and the creation of an Islamic state under Sharia Law across the world. Mogahed appeared alongside Hizb ut Tahrir's national women's officer, Nazreen Nawaz.

During the 45-minute discussion, on the Islam Channel programme Muslimah Dilemma, the two members of the group attacked secular "man-made law" and the West's "lethal cocktail of freedom and capitalism".

They called for Sharia Law to be "the source of legislation" and said that women should not be "permitted to hold a position of leadership in government".

It also includes the controversial "Hadd offences", crimes with specific penalties set by the Koran and the sayings of the prophet Mohammed. These include death by stoning for adultery and homosexuality and the removal of a hand for theft.

Whole Earth Catalog Environmentalist Promotes Economic Growth

Environmentalist and author Stewart Brand, an advocate of geoengineering to combat climate change, told CNSNews.com that “human technology” has been “disturbing the atmosphere and climate” for the last “10,000 years,” but also rejected the prescription of some environmentalists who have argued that economic development needs to be stopped, an idea Brand called “unjust.”

Brand also predicted that a declining, not an increasing, human population will be seen as the problem of the future, saying that "by the second half of the century the population crisis will be seen as not enough people."

“Human technology is disturbing the atmosphere and the climate, but we’ve been doing that for about 10,000 years since we started doing agriculture and have been affecting the climate in a big way all that time and it’s gotten a lot more significant in the last 200 years and even more significant than that in the last 50 years and so on,” Brand told CNSNews.com on Monday after a panel discussion on geoengineering at the New America Foundation.

“Right now, you’re getting a lot of economic take off in the developing world. They are going to be using a lot more energy. So far a lot is being used in coal," said Brand. "Greenhouse gases are multiplying and the climate is responding, pretty much as predicted it would. So now the question is: Can we move technology ahead to offset what the previous technology acceleration has unleashed? And I think we can.”

When asked if curbing technological advancement will prohibit the development of the United States, Brand, who was editor of “Whole Earth Catalog,” rejected the prescription of some environmentalists who believe stopping economic growth is necessary to protect the environment.

“No, not even remotely," said Brand. "Stopping economic development is, I know, an agenda of some of my fellow environmentalists and I think, one, it’s actually unjust because a lot of people are getting out of poverty for the first time and to say, 'No stay in poverty, because poverty is so green,' is not something we can say.”

Brand most recent book, Whole Earth Discipline: An Ecopragmatist Manifesto, explains his unique approach to environmentalism.

“Furthermore, attempts to stop economic growth in the past have all failed," he said. "So, economic growth will continue unless and until we have a disaster and we may have disasters from climate change and so the much greater economic threat comes from bad things happening with the climate than bad things happening from attempts at mitigation.”

White House science adviser John Holdren, an early and highly influential leader of the environmentalist movement, called in the 1973 book he co-authored with Paul and Anne Ehrlich for a “massive campaign” to “de-develop." Holdren, Ehrlich and Gretchen Daily of Stanford University also wrote in a 1995 essay published by the World Bank that mankind must face up to a “world of zero net physical growth” and reduce “material consumption” and limit population growth. CNSNews.com asked Brand if he agreed with Holdren’s ideas.

“All of that’s happening anyway," Brand said. "We’re doing more with less all the time. Everything that is in the information technology domain gets lots more done with a lot less energy and materials than it was back in the strictly mechanical industrial period.

“Population is leveling off rapidly and by the second half of the century the population crisis will be seen as not enough people, as we’re already seeing in many European countries," said Brand. "So, in a sense, what John Holdren was saying should be a program back 30 years ago has actually come to pass without it actually even being a program.”

“It’s not a question of it being done. It’s just happening," said Brand. "We are using less material for any economic event. We are using less energy for any economic event. There are fewer and fewer people to where over half of the nations of the world now have a below-replacement birth rate. So, we’ll level off probably below 9 billion and then head down from there. I think it’s great that the program John Holdren was pushing back then didn’t have to be pushed it actually was a window into the future.”
