Revealing Politics conducted a simple survey of several DNC attendees, asking one question: “How does it feel to belong to the government?”
Here are the top 5 responses:
- “It feels like one big happy family to belong to the government, because if we feel that way, we are more safer [sic], um, we should feel the government should be able to help us and be able to take care of us.”
- “Who knows, I haven’t never had another feeling, so I can’t tell you how it feels not to belong to the government.”
- “Regardless of where you live, you are going to be owned by someone at some point.”
- “I believe that, but unfortunately the Republicans don’t.”
- “Feels great, I support that.”
Best of the Rest:
- “We all do belong to the government as U.S. citizens.”
- “We are all part of our community, a national community as Americans.”
- “It makes you feel united.”
