Slaughter On Tenth Avenue is a Mick Ronson solo track from Slaughter On Tenth Avenue but also released on Welcome to the Club and there is also a live version from the Rockpalast show in 1980. The song was included on Ronson's first LP when David Bowie came in with his crowd and just took over. Bowie ran out of time although he promised to write lyrics for the tune. As they ran out of time Mick asked about the words but responded he didn't feel like writing and wandered off. What we are left with was Ronson's finishing his record in two days and the pure class guitar playing live as on this record. It was often featured during touring as the Hunter Ronson Band.
Also recorded at the Rockpalast TV Show, Grugahalle, Essen Germany 19th April 1980 and is on Collateral Damage.
