It looks easy just like fast food since so-called singers try Karaoke and you are cool like "fifty shades of stupid." Fifty shades is a reference to the erotic romance novel wedded to the famous 15 minutes of fame quotation misattributed to Andy Warhol. The point of the song is clear it is not as easy as you think to write a pop hit and stars are not really born on Simon Cowell reality shows. The shows are all flashing lights, artificial music, and you are out in fifteen minutes. It's similar to a dare go ahead and try because that's when the trouble starts.

The expression was inspired by a quotation misattributed to Andy Warhol: "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes." Attributed to two other people, the first printed use was in the program for a 1968 exhibition of Warhol's work at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Sweden.[1] The phenomenon is often used in reference to figures in the entertainment industry or other areas of popular culture, such as reality television and YouTube.
